The Keymasters are the main group of bosses of the game. As their name implies, each Keymaster carries a key, every key needed to find Dark Demon's hidden castle. There are five total Keymasters present; however, one in particular is not seen or fought during the game. Upon defeating a Keymaster, Pieces will fly out of the spot where the key once was. Collecting enough Pieces will allow the player to get a continue, or "another try". Each Piece increases the player's score a little bit.
